His favourite blanket

This LO I made for DESIGN in PAPERS with lots of Plus One decos. It turned out great I think, love the contrast. The LO is about how my son loves this pink blanket even though it is very thin and got holes in it. I cant throw it away because he think it is so soft and loves it so much.

I don’t have too much time writing today so I hope you enjoyed the pictures. I have so much to do at school, I was editing photos in high speed yesterday to be done in time for the first semi in the Eurovision song contest. At the same time I was running some computer simulations on my school computer trying to figure out what is wrong with my project. Oh well, I thought I could take a few minutes this morning while having my coffey typing up some blog posts so on I go now. Have a geat day!

My thinker

I keep making LOs with my daughter, she loves having her picture taken and my son makes these funny faces everytime. But he asked me if I couldn’t do a LO with him on it so I looked through my stash of printed photos and found this. He is such a clever boy. He thinks of the most amazing things and it reminds me of myself. I took this picture when he didn’t see me, so no funny face ;)

I made it for DESIGN in PAPERS this week, using some more wanderlust and a piece of a Maggie Holmes paper and an overlay.

I’m happy with this one, it’s soft and dreamy just like my son. Thanks for stopping by!

In her own world

Today is my first solo post for DESIGN in PAPERS and I made a LO. I had a scrap piece of the grey striped paper from Studio Calico Wanderlust collection laying on my desk. Then I saw the umbrella and I started thinking. This was a really fun LO about my daughter who always concentrate 100% on everything she does, it is really hard to get her attention when she is in her own little world. Here she is watching tv.

I had so many great embellishment to pick from and I love making LOs when I have lots of supplies. I wanted sort of an whimsical look.

I just loooooove these foam thickers from American Crafts. They look so nice since and I love the handwritten effect since I have terrible handwriting. You won’t see me jumping onboard the brush script trend any day soon ;)

Here’s a close up of my cute umbrella shielding my daughter from the rain...

I painted the background with a faint green watercolor glaze. It doesn’t show up in the pictures as much but it ties in the green puffy sticker with the rest of the design.
