Friendship card

Lawn fawn friendship

Here's a very shimmery card I made for Design in Papers, using two sets of Lawn Fawn stamps. I think the sentiment isn't really grammatically correct but everyone gets the meaning, right? Well, i loved the pretty butterfly from the Flutter by set and needed a narrow kind of sentiment so I grabbed the chemistry of love set and made this. I used AquaTints for colouring, they are very vibrant and the metallic gold and silver are amazing. It's just packed with metallic goodness.

I added a layer of glossy accent on the butterfly (last thing before leaving the scrap room, I have learned the hard way) and it is so pretty and shimmery and fun! And the mat made by a scrap piece of my favourite paper made it even better. I love it when a vague idea turns out lovely!

Hey, you want some fun news? I designed a couple of stamp sets for WOW and they will be released in the June release together with two of Marion emberson's stamps (that are equally amazing). I got them in the mail the other day and they are so wonderful! I can't get over the fact that I made them. I feel like a proud mother showing her new baby ;) I so hope everyone will love them as much as I do. They are called Big Words and Flight of Fancy. Here's a sneak...

We have great chemistry

When I picked out my last DT kit from DESIGN in PAPERS I also went on a shopping spree and got a lot of Lawn Fawn sets that I've been eying for a while. And some dies. Ehm... I went a bit nuts actually but I had so much fun playing with them and got very productive working ahead on all of my DT assignments. Now I'm suddenly more than a month ahead. Yup. Really. And still I managed being late with todays post since I somehow forget to take pictures yesterday. Which actually turned out well since today it's sunny outside and great light for taking pictures, yesterday there was rain and hail  and terrible light. So, in the end it all worked out kind of well. Lawnfawn_dip_chemistry

So, this card I made with the Chemistry of Love set that is so super cute and geeky. And we all know how I feel about geeky stuff, right? I coloured with my Spectrum Aqua markers and tried masking with rubber cement, loved it! So much fun! Will do it again! And those SpectrumAqua... Love them!

I hope I'll feel like doing some just-for-fun creations since I've been a good girl working on my DT posts. Which by the way is (way too) fun too. I made the decision yesterday to step down from the En liten butik DT, I've been on a break for too long even though I loved being a part of the team. Lotta and the DT girls are amazing and oh so creative. There is such lovely products in the shop but I just felt like I needed to step away anyways. It was such a hard decision... Maybe I'll apply for some new team soon, I would love some new challenges. I'm actually feeling really creative at the moment, and for once I also got plenty of time since I just graduated school and have no more school assignments to get in on time. Oh, and the other day I got some amazing stamps from Winnie & Walter for my guest spot in the end of the month and let me tell you. You are going to LOVE them! They are so amazing!

Well, I guess I was feeling talkative today ;) Thank you for stopping by, I hope you like the card. See you soon!
