And here's my project! I love wood grain paper, I've got tons of them. You might say I hoard them. This one was a really nice one with the gray-ish color. It made a great background for my layout. The picture is of my kids playing with their cousin, I just love this picture.

I have used Opaque Bright White embossing powder from WOW! for the wood shape and the cork hearts. From Ruby Rock-it I've used the Country Cookin wood veneers, droplet stickers, twine, Crate 12x12 paper, die-cuts and tags.

The next blog to hop to is the amazing June Goh

Enjoy the hop!

I made this birthday themed card a while back.  I die cut a polaroid frame and embossed it in silver, while the embossing powder was still melted I stamped a greeting in it. The inside of the frame I cut out in watercolor paper and colored it with embossing pads. I stamped a greeting and added glitter. It’s really cute!

I also added some staples to keep the embossed frame in place, it wanted to pop up in places. I think it looks kind of cool.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello!

I actually made two cards for the hello-themed reveal of the new DT at A Blog Named Hero but this one was a bit tricky to take a picture of. Also I liked my feather one better but this is nice too so here you go.

I used a Technique Tuesday die for the edge and embossed a kraft colored cardstock with golden woodgrain pattern. Nice and CAS. I love this background stamp, it is so useful for lots of things.

I like the greeting on the popped up bottom panel. The papers are Maggie Holmes.

Keeping it short today, lots of schedualing to do. The not as fun part of creating, it takes a lot of time but I love to share :)
