I was inspired by this tutorial by Nicky Hayden to try making tiny shavings of AquaBlend pencils and then spritz with water to make the color appear in tiny confetti like bursts. I did get the idea to put a stencil on top to make a pattern of bursts and I was very excited when I saw the results. I had big trouble making it into a card because the background turned out so pretty. In the end I just silver embossed a sentiment and a made a vellum leaf to attach on top to let some of the color shine through it.
