Little Details

I made this LO with MME products, I love the whites and greys for these pictures from my wedding day. MME and awesome kit club Gossamer Blue are looking for a GDT and I would be thrilled to get the chance to create for them. I hope they like my LO.

IMG_7550

These are all detail pictures of things from my wedding. I’ve been meening to scrap them for a while but I wasn’t really inspired. Now it all fell into place.

IMG_7555

Little details is the title, I added some sequins ad glitter tape for extra sparkle.

IMG_7556

I hope you liked my page, I’m always happy when I go ahead and scrap some of my wedding pictures! This looka romantic but not over the top, I like how it turned out.

This is my blogpost for Hobbyworld this week. I’ve been having fun with the Basic Greys Bowtie collection. Awesome papers, lots of fun! I started out with a sketch from Studio Calico but kept adding things and well, it doesn’t look anything like the sketch anymore ;)

IMG_7413liten

I always cut out some extra shapes when using my Cameo, I found this cute camera in my stash. Probably perfect for Project life but I love it on layouts as well... Oh, Höstlekar means something like Fall games. The picture is of my son pretending to fix the swing set in the yard.

Invitations

My daughter is having her birthday soon and I was busy making invitations for her party the other night.

IMG_7407

I kept them quite simple, the lion is a stamp from Cosmo Cricket that I cut in half since the text was in english and i wanted it to say Kalas (party) instead.  I like them quite a bit I must admit, I have a hard time making cards for children. They always turn out kind of... busy... Well maby I’m getting better or maby it was luck but I like the whimsical feeling of this card.

Thanks for stopping by! I have some more blogging to catch up with and I was thinking of making another video if there is time today. Busy busy!

Cardsketch for SWE

It’s been a while since I’ve done anything for SWE Scrapbook but now I’m trying to get back in my rutines and I really had to try this sketch since I made it myself. I will keep this card for a while though because it somehow feels unfinished, maby I’ll figure it out if I stare at it for a couple of days or so.

IMG_7390

Well pop on over to SWE and look at the other girls creations. There is not two cards alike, I had really fun when I was checking in and saw all the different interpretations. I love how a sketch can trigger so many different ideas.

Altered Champagne glass

IMG_7383liten

This is my last project for Svensk Scrapbookings CC, the challenge was to alter a Champagne glass. I made a small name tag to use as a place card and later to keep track of your glass at the party.

IMG_7382

I used some wood veneer stars that I painted with a glitter pen and made a night sky. It’s kind of cute and not to hard to make if you want to mass produce.

My card on the Inzpira blog!

Some months ago I made a pink ribbon card for Inzpira Magazine, unfortionetly I didn’t really read the instructions that closely and missed the deadline. Well today my card and another one showed up at the Inzpira blog, how fun! I can’t blog the card yet but you can go see it for yourself here.

I was so happy I had to write a post about it :) Wiiiiii!

Art Journal

IMG_7377liten

This is also for the CC at Svensk Scrapbooking. I made an art journal page on the theme possibilities. It was supposed to be Mixed Media and it turned out quite nice. I didn’t say a bad word and I didn’t mutter under my breath even. It says New year, new possibilities.

Oh happy day!

I’ve had a happy scrappy day creating this LO for the CC over at Svensk Scrapbooking. You know that feeling of being in the zone and not really thinking, just doing. That happened to me when I started this LO and I must say it turned out really nice. I had some help from a scrappy friend Christin (aka Umenorskan) who sent me some inspirational pictures that triggered a creative jackpot :) I love that feeling!

IMG_7359

This is me getting married, my brother took the pictures (you should also go see his photos at Anyday.se he takes amazing pictures) and I have a ton of them just waiting to get scrapped. I made vellum pockets and filled them with random stuff.

IMG_7361

I also stamped in black to get some contrast here and there.

IMG_7363

Now I have to go clean up my scraproom before starting the next project. It looks like a scrap facrory has exploded in there! But I’m having fun :)

Mixed Media LO

This is another creation for Svensk Scrapbookings CC. This was a challenge for me since it was mixed media with a winter theme. It was supposed to be snowy and with some fabric (not ribbon). I made a LO with some different medias: mist, distress stains, distress ink, gel pen, stickles and some gesso.

IMG_7345

It is really glittery from all the stickles but the pictures don’t show it.. It looks much better in person and I kind of like how it turned out even though I did use some foul language while making it. I am not a bog fan of randomness and stickyness ;-) Also I have a problem creating winter themed creations, I don’t know why. I guess I hade some kind of winter overdose when I was a kid growing up in the north of Sweden. I do love white winters now, after too many gray rainy ones here, but I’m not feeling the urge to get a lot of winter themed products and have vitually no good pictures to use. This one is of our garden taken from my kitchen window, I love to see the seasons changing in the big apple tree.

Another video

I got a video camera for Christmas and tried it out yesterday while making the bicycle card. I’m still figuring this filming and editing out so be patient ;)

I must say it takes a lot of time to make videos, all the editing and uploading and stuff. I am now even more impressed of the people making this once a week or even more. If you have any time saving tips or any other words of wisdom (like what editing software I should be using and why) I’m eternally grateful.

Anyway, I hope you like the video!

Enjoy the ride!

I made one more polaroid-frame card from my left over cut outs. This one using a bicycle from Hero Arts that I really really love but I have a hard time using it for some reason. I love how this simple card turned out.

IMG_7317

I did some shadow stamping on the sentiment and the bicycle turned out really crisp and nice when I stamped it with Staz On.

I was so happy when I got the note from the post office today, my Santa Sack #5 from October Afternoon had arrived. But when I went to pick it up it wasn’t there :( I was told it probably got left behind when unloading or maby it went to the wrong post office. I have to try again to pick it up on monday and hope they have found it. And I so wanted to play with all the fun stuff this weekend. Oh well, I have the first one to play with and I also have to paint my sons room this weekend so I’ll keep busy.

Hello!

I made this card for Svensk Scrapbooking and their CC, this is for the card sketch.

IMG_7332

I like how this turned out! I had somme polaroid frames left from another project and thought they would look good on cards. I like the polaroid papers from Amy Tangerine but I don’t have any so I kind of stole the idea ;) Very colorful and very much my style!
