I used one of Studio Calicos sunday sketches to make this LO. The picture is from this summer when we were renovation our kitchen. I think I went to IKEA three or four times in one week. This time Idun was helping out ;)
Yellow and brown aren’t really my favourite colors but I had a yellow paper bag I wanted to use for something and then the Classic Calico 3 worked together with that bag. I love the enamel dots that turns up from many of the companies right now, they are easier to use than bling for me, just lovely shiny splashes of color. Yum!

Katarina made a great LO for Malin to scraplift, then I scraplifted Malin and Tesa me, then it was Lindas turn and finally Katarina lifted Linda. I think we all had a lot of fun and you can see all the LOs in the Hobbyworld blog.
Well, I sort of kind of forgot to blog my LO here, I like how it turned out.
The title translates to “Like dog and cat”, my kids got to dress up and they wanted to be a dog and a cat. They decided the day before so I just had timme to put some ears on their hats and tie a belt around their wastes to make tails. They were really hapy anyways and used the hats every day for a long time. I think they look super cute!
You really should go see the other LOs, it’s so much fun to see how we all changes the LO to our own style. It’s always a great inspiration to scraplift someone elses LO when your own inspiration has taken a vacation or is just asleep for a while :)

This LO I made for the midnight scrap challenge at Svensk Scrapbookings crop in Karlstad. We got to try Pan Pastels and be inspired by a song title. I chose I wanna rock n roll all nite, and every day...
I’m not really convinced about the Pan Pastels, they went everywhere and not only where I wanted them. I’m not getting a set anytime soon but it was fun to try.
The title reads something like “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing with attitude”. The picture is of my daughter lounging in the sofa wearing my sunglasses. I really like how this turned out, just simple, not a single patterned paper. And the title says it all=no journaling. I’m going to add the year, I forgot but that’s it.

Last year I was guest DT over at Tickled Pink Stamps and got to make lots of fun projects using their awesome Lil’ Spinks n’ Spooks collection. I was totally happy :) Well, I was totally happy when I saw this weeks card challenge over at SWE Scrapbook too. It’s a sketch, and a color theme AND it’s supposed to be scary. Well... I’m not sure about the scary part, litllte witch Tilda doesn’t look so scary. But I liked her with the sentiment, also from Magnolia. I own two Tilda stamps and that sentiment, I guess I’ll better use them now and then ;)
Actually I can see the Magnolia shop from my window at the office. I sometimes go there on my lunch hour to look, they have tons of papers and lots of nice decos. And stamps, lots and lots of stamps. To bad I don’t really like Magnolia stamps, or maby that’s good. I would spend all my money there if I did ;) Now I have to go over there soon, I used my last purple paper and I guess I could use one or two at home just in case there is a color challange with purple in it some time again. I don’t really like purple and I never buy purple on purpose but I guess I have to make an exception.

This is also a challenge from Karlstad. We were supposed to use lists on our LOs. I have a very clever son and made a list of the sometimes very clever things he comes up with. This was kind of hard because he always says a lot of funny and clever things and I always thinks that I will remember but when I was going to put them down it was just blank. I did remember some things but not at all the really funny things he says, well, there is a list and there is a nice picture of him looking thoughtful.

The picture is from when we were going on a walk with the dogs this summer. Idun didn’t want to change from her princess dress when we were going and when they started to blow the seeds from dandellions I had to snap some photos. Aren’t they cute?
I made this layout for SWE Scrapbook, Helene made a awesome sketch this week for the sketch challenge and I couldn’t help making something for it. I printed a large photo of my beautiful daughter. Doesn’t she look all impish and cute? My somn doesnt like having his picture taken that much, he always makes a face or looks away. I have a lot more pictures of my daughter who loves having her picture taken. Still I try to make equal amont of layouts with them both but it is a challenge since I don’t take that many pictures to start with.
I could not get a good picture of this LO, I really tried and tried. The large photo got reflections and this is as good as it got. It is never light enough to taka photos when I get home from work at this time of year.
I know for a fact that there are lovely layouts in the SWE Scrapbook blog today, go see for yourself!

There is a CC at Svensk Scrapbooking and one of the challenges was to make a LO with big elements. I picked one of our wedding pictures and printed it in a big format. I also cut out a big title (Newly-wed) with my Cameo. I used papers from Portfolio by Pink Paislee and it looks good with the black and white picture.
I had an old glassine bag that I got some embellishments in, I filled it with stars and adhered to my page. I love how it says hello forever on it.
I’m glad I finally made a page from our wedding, I have a hard time scrapping the pictures. My brother was following me around for all the preparations and the whole day taking pictures. He takes lovely pictures (you can see for yourself here http://anyday.se ) and I have more than 1000 pictures capturing our wedding. They are so great that I can’t seem to use them... Now I at least have one LO from our wedding :)
Last weekend I went to Svensk Scrapbookings crop in Karlstad. I had a great time and made projects for 7 of the challenges, that has got to be a new record for me! Well, actually I think I made projects for 8 challenges but one I’m not going to put in my blog. It was a crazy 10 minutes challenge, one instruction every minute, yikes! But it was fun and we all had a laugh.
Anyways, I did actually win one of the challenges with things I found in the DT-kit Hobbyworld had sent for us to use while there. I got lots of stamps and papers from Papermaze, super cute!
I got my hands on the amazing All is Bright series from MME. The challange was to make a kit with matching projects, one christmas card, onte tag and a christmas ornament. We had another challenge to alter a candle and I made one that matched the other projects.
The papers from the All is Bright series from My Minds Eye are really my kind of Christmas papers, they come in lovely blues, turqoise, red and creme colors. They are so lovely that you really can’t fail when using them.
I went to visit CiLi in Papers to chat and Cicci showed me these super cute tiny bird houses in one of the other shops and I fell in love. I had to get some and that’s what I used for a christmas ornament. The little bird from Prima was just perfect to add to it! Love how it turned out!
This is the christmas card. It’s easy to match when using paper from the same series. I also made it match using the same border punch, twine and another cute bird.
To make the tag I used a Spellbinders die, it is fun to just use parts of the dies to make nice edges. I also love those fat eyelets, they are just perfect for tags!
The candle I made as a quick bonus project. It doesn’t take many minutes to punch out a nice border, tie some string around it and adhere some stickers. You can make them as a last-minute hostess present maby? I wouldn’t recommend burning the candle unattended though, paper and fire isn’t a great combination when left alone.
I really had a great time in Karlstad and met all the wonderful scrappers I usually only see online. Isn’t scrappers the most friendly people? There will be a lot mor projects from Karlstad in the blog. There will be no other pictures unfortionetly since I never remember to take any.
