Fönsterdekor

Jag har nyligen gjort om lite i mitt scraprum så nu är det riktigt fint här. Vi har satt bänkskiva runt tre väggar så att det finns ordentligt med bordsyta. För att kunna få upp skivan fick vi skruva loss fönsterbrädorna. Jag har inte gröna fingrar men lite fint vill jag gärna ha i mina fönster ändå, utan massa grejor som tar upp plats på bänkskivan. Lösningen blev att skära ut fönsterdekor i frostad vinyl.

I’ve recently made a scrap room make-over and now the room looks great! We have put up work surface along three walls to get a lot of space for the whole family. To get the new surfaces we had to remove the windowsills. I don’t have a green thumb but I still want to have nice windows without a lot of things on my desks. I used my Cameo to cut out window decorations from frosted vinyl.

Jag valde ett fint grafiskt mönster och skar ut med Cameon. Vill man att det ska skydda mot insyn så kan man göra det högre men jag ville mest att det skulle bli lite dekorativt och det blev det. Jag är jättenöjd med mina “nya” fönster. Vill man så kan man ju byta mönster efter säsong, snöflingor på vintern och blommor på sommaren till exempel.

I chose a nice graphical pattern and cut it out with the Cameo. You can make the decoration wider and use it to cover up some of the windows for privacy, but I just made a narrow pattern for decoration. I’m really happy with my “new” windows. You can also change the decor to fit the season, why not use snowflakes for winter and flowers for summer?
