This is my project for Hobbyworld this week. For a super easy project this day before Christmas all you need is a punch, some nice paper and a sewing machine. Also, if you feel ambitious, add glitter. Easy, right?
I punched out snowflakes from Vellum but you can use any paper and punch. Circles from double sided pattern papers are cute to use. For my garland I added three punched out shapes for each snowflake, bunched it toghether and sewed across the middle, then pull out some thread without cutting it and sew through the next shape. After I was done adding shapes I folded the snowflakes out to make it dimensional.
I also used a glue pen and added glitter, be warned though, this takes some patience using vellum since it’s flimsy and the snowflakes had a lot of points to add glitter to. It took forever and the scrap room still glitters. Very Christmas-like.
Have a wonderful Christmas and make sure to take some time to create something.
