Guest at Winnie & Walter, day 4

This is the last day as a guest at Winnie & Walter and I have had so much fun! It was like christmas getting all these pretty stamps in a package and coming up with fun ways to use them. I want to thank Julie and Shay for having me as a guest and for being pretty much awesome in general.  And now for the inspiration :)Winnie_walter_my_precious

This is a card using the My Precious set. I die cut the tag and white embossed it before making a gradient using Aqua Tints. I added a ready made tag and made a background using double sided tape and gold flakes to make stripes.

This card was made using the True set, it's sooooo pretty! I almos always start my cards with white cardstock but I found some delicious pink smooth cardstock and clear embossed the hearts and coloured them using gold Aqua Tints to give them a very pretty shimmer. The sentiments in this set are so wonderful, I just white embossed the true friend sentiment on some vellum and added a heart and called it a day. I absolutely love it!

This is a cute little set called Sparkle. There are some sparkly things, I'm not sure about the english word for them, the Swedish name don't translate to anything sane, heh. Aaaaanyways, I used the small  sparkly circles to make a pattern and embossed them with white sparkly embossing powder. Then I added some splashes of paint and let it run up and down the paper. I embossed the sentiment in silver and added a glitter paper as a mat around the image. It is very artsy and fun!

Last card uses the Multifaceted set. I stamped it with embossing ink and added bonding powder and foil and ran it through the laminator. I discovered that the results get even shinier if you run over the backside of the paper with a bone folder before removing the foil. I just added some layers and some twine before stamping the sending Smiles on vellum and sew it on the layers. I love how the foil actually look white behind the vellum, very fun!

That is all I have for you right now. I will keep playing with the stamps and dies and you will probably see them again here on the blog. If you want some stamps of your own, go to the Winnie & Walter blog for giveaways of all sets used here and also you'll get great inspiration from the DT and Maria who is my fellow guest for this release. Enjoy!
