I wanted to make a card using my Paper Smooches stamps since they are looking for a guest DT and I think they have the cutest stamps. I paper pieced the canvas on the easel and the tip of the brush. I just now realaized I put the paint brush upside down, since the shading is on top. Doh! I did not really think about it while putting the card together, I got caught up in the composition. Oh well, I guess I can imagine it’s the sunset or something ;) I used paper from Studio Calico and colored the paintbrush and easel using the Spectrum Noir blendable pencils. I got a huge pile of carstock, something like 500 sheets, from a scrapbook company that was closing and it’s perfect for card bases. I also discovered it was great for coloring with the SN pencils since it had a bit of a grip. I’m totally happy with these cardstocks, they will last me forever. Oh, they are also great for stamping, as you can see. Lucky me!
