Chalkboard and pastels

Maya_isaksson_simon_says_stamp_watermarked

I was playing with my AquaTints and made a background from one of the papers by die cutting it with a Winnie & Walter die and sticking it down on top of some plain white cardstock. I think the Pastel AquaTints are so soft and pretty and the background turned out really good. I stamped a speech bubble on vellum and since it was a large image and I didn't ink it up very well it ended up looking a bit chalk board-looking. I Did use my misti for this but chose not to double stamp it because it looked cool when you could see through spots of it. I flipped it over and stamped a greeting on it and attached it to the card. I like the contrast with the black on top of the pastels.

I hope you liked my card! See you soon again.
