I made a couple of cards to show on the ABNH facebook page. I had a bit of a craving for neons for a while so I dusted off the Hero Arts Neon Inks that I keep forgetting I have since they are the tiny cubes and won't fit in my regular ink storage. I used some different sets of Hero Arts stamps and made this card first. I'm giving it to my husband today because him and me... Oh yeah! ;) I hope that will make up for the fact that he has to drive me to the airport early this morning and I'll be gone for four days leaving him at home with the kids (one of them having chicken pox) and the dogs while I'll be having fun in Birmingham. It's neon, that has to count for something, right?
I made this at the same time. I seem to collect typewriter stamps. I don't know why, I rarely use them. But they are so pretty! And I love the klicking of the keys. Aaaaanyways, I was not as pleased with this card as I was with the other just because the color-scribble stamp I used for the background was a bit too small compared to the typewriter. But it improved by adding the paperclip and therefore I kept it. And the typewriter is really cute!
