A couple of months ago I started to knit and crotchet again. I never really knitted anything before but I used to love making amigurumis. As always I dive right in with full enthusiasm and go a bit crazy about it so I’ve been knitting like a mad woman for a while. Hats, wrist warmers and dog sweaters has been popping up mysteriously around the house. I think I might have some cind of craft-addiction-problem. Well I’m fortunate enough to live in the part pf Sweden where the textile industry is very strong and we have lot’s of great places to shop and to get a great deal. Here are some pictures of the yarn shop I visited with my friend Marie yesterday.
I got some lovely yarn for future projects and then we went to this huge fabric store that I forgot to take pictures at. The thing is I felt like trying to sew something. I haven’t really made anything from a pattern since i was like 15 years old so i started out small with a zippered box that actually turned out great! I’m totally proud :)
I mean, it has a zipper and everything! That’s advanced ;) I had a lot of fun and did not curse one single time! I’m looking forward to some more projects with my sewing machine.
